if you are buying a new processor they usually come with some or the cpu cooler.
Yes, thermal paste is an absolute necessity. I’d recommend OCZ Freeze or Arctic Silver 5…TX-2 isn’t bad either. All can be found on newegg.
yes it is, you can get it at newegg
is thermal paste need i dont know where to buy it i might get this case soon
Where is the best place to place the hard drive, bottom or top for this case to not block the airflow?
I had an AMD Sempron without thermal paste for a while, I think it still works.
Have you tried to push the button ”LED” left for the power button :p That helped for me first thime i though my LED was fucked

oh man, soo much could have happen. btw the 2000 RPM you see is the speed at which your fans spin. the faster they spin the better they cool ofc. what you should do now is, maybe register at toms hardware or overclockers club, and see if the ppl there can help. youl have tot ell them everything tho so they can help you fix it.
i know why i need heatsinks. i just dont know what have gone wrong with my pc. when my computer boots, then i can just see my harddrives, cpu, ram but it does not start loading windows. it just shuts computer down and i was eable to go to my pc health on bios and i saw that my cpu went was over 2000 rounds per minute but it usualy was around 900. what should i don now?
what it does is it transfers heat from cpu to the heatsink.
its like a medium between them, without it your cpu will burn.
nice vid…HELPED ALOT!!

u need it to cool off the CPU but dont worry all cpu come with the paste on the heatsink

The sounds that the installation of the HSF is- no, was, enough to change my mind to getting an AMD processor.
It was worth it.
