I wonder why Pros don’t get burrow late game. Jaedong got erasered so bad at 16:35 (for noobs, that is science vessel irradiate each other killing drones.) The game was already over at that point so it didn’t matter this time. But if the 2 players were even, that erazer would have shifted the game greatly in flash’s favor. Burrow is 100/100, it’s not that expensive considering so many Zerg Pro lose like 30 drones to erazer.

Yes, CS is partly about fighting other players, but there are other parts to fighting them than to just shoot at them. The game revolves ALOT around different sounds, fakes, teamplay and so on.

Also, a big part of the game is about economy. If you lose the pistolround, your team is bound to have at least one, maybe two eco-rounds (unless you try for some weird strat), and so on and so forth..

There IS alot of strategy involved in CS. I’m sorry you fail to see it.

AND DO YOU KNOW IRRADIATE DOESN’T DO SPLASH DAMAGE TO BURROWED UNITS?

Irradiate deals damage to the unit being irradiate (unless it’s non-biological like science vessel) and deals splash damage to all units around it. However if you burrow the drones, they no longer take splash damage from science vessel. You can still irradiate a single drone but you cant kill all of them with 2 science vessels.
