that didn’t seem too hard in my opinion…but i still wouldn’t do it lol

    here’s a little question though…

why go through all that when you can just buy a new computer and transfer the files from the old one to the new? it’ll make it 10 times easier lol but hey that’s just me! excellent video though.

oh and by the way,i dual boot xp n windows 7..two diff partitions, and i could run the apps on WIN XP Partition on Win 7

  11. hyder7nh says:

the best way to do dis is to make partitions on your computer, resize your C drive and make new partitions and backup your files there..or if you dont want to create new partition..there is also another way without having to get an external hard disk..in win 7 install, when it asks wich partition to install to,Choose C,or the drive where xp is installed, after installation,go to C/the drive where u install win7,u will find all ur files in a folder called windows.old
    HAVE FUN WITH WINDOWS 7

@phreshpinoy89 maybe you don’t have the recommended OS requirements for it…

  18. JantrinaProductions says:

    @gionnan1495 yep…

  19. JantrinaProductions says:

Just compress your files in the winrar.upload it on mediafire, rapidshare, megavideo etc.after installing win7,you can download your original files from those sites.

  20. JantrinaProductions says:

@1QUONMOZES 1 GB and the processor speed should be more than 1ghz…it will be fine if you have that.

  21. 13Isc says:

@gionnan1495 You can just insert the disk, it will be fine.

Or you could do what I did on my work laptop. I upgraded from xp to vista, then from vista to 7. Was pretty nice cause I didn’t have to reinstall any software and the upgrade did all the work for me.

  24. phreshpinoy89 says:

dang nice but i don’t know pretty scared cause my pc my crash :( last time when i tried upgrading my pc to vista it took 98% cpu so i dont know…

  25. gionnan1495 says:

I am currently running WinXP Professional and have encountered the BSoD twice withing the past 2 weeks. I have been running XP in safe mode the entire time and cannot connect to the net from my own PC since the BSoD. I want to switch to Win7 because I’m tired of XP and Vista isn’t pleasing to use, so my question is: do I need to reformat my hard drive (if so please tell me how) or can I simply insert the disk while running XP in safe mode?
