Ok… this stuff is siimple… but how would you configure ure screens so that they are like independant pc’s with their own taskbars and icons! I want to be able to open the start function on both pc’s!
No problem. This issue (if we call it issue) is pretty normal. You can drag’n'drop windows between monitors or-after installing UltraMon or silimar software- You can right click on window caption and click on option move to another monitor.
Thx, I copied icons but when I opened them, they opened in my 19, instead of my 46, where I dragged them and double clicked them. Thanks anyway. I only have XP and an Nvidia 7300 GT 256. I think I need Wind 7 and new hardware. Peace.I will chk UltraMon though. Thx again.
second monitor doubles your workspace, but only desktop! You can drag windows between two monitors and also your icons there. So if you want to run programs from other monitor, just copy some icons to it. You can also install utilities (such as UltraMon) which will add taskbar also to second screen.
How do you get the nr 1 and 2 in the display settings got windows xp but dont got it and got 2 screens now but they show the same things but i want to have ´1 that like have a movie on it and i can play on the other if you know what i mean (please help )
Would I be able to do this with a laptop with a VGA (blue) connection. And a Samsung 17″ TFT LCD monitior? My laptop has a ATI Radeon Express 1100 – which has an option to “extend my desktop” ?
ok i need help
@TheElwall I dont think that is possible..natively though some special software could do it.
Thanks a lot. That was a very good tutorial

What is it? LCD projector? I suppose you mean normal projector. It’s basically the same as with monitors…
