SCBW is not dead. A lot of pros still play and competitions still go on all the time.
if you’re serious- it’s an RTS in which there are three main races- high tech alien Protoss, slimy all- naturalZerg and good old fashioned erathly Terrans. the game’s campaign is comprised of 30 missions, ten with each race, and through this campaign you are acquainted with the StarCraft universe. a 1998 universe, if i might add, so don’t expect over the top graphics- what you see here is what you get. but there are some fine movies here and there. all in all it has a concrete storyline. next

it comes bundled with an expansion pack named Brood War, which is a continuation to the main first part. for which there are some new units per race, and 24 new missions (8 per race).
considering that a whole nation (South Korea) considers this a national sport, and people play this game online for some 12 years now, you can be rest assured- this game rocks.
oh, and your objective here is to eliminate your opponent. and GG means Good Game, comes first from the guy who lost.

Why does the observer, fnaticXeris, have a base? Is this some special thing for this tournament? Doesn’t that restrict it to a minimum of 3 player maps?
